Meet The Team

United Cree is powered by a team of experienced professionals, industry specialists, and Indigenous leaders committed to building sustainable economic opportunities across Canada.

Our leadership combines decades of experience in heavy equipment operations, construction, modular infrastructure, and resource-sector project support. Together, we bring the expertise required to deliver reliable industrial services while maintaining a strong commitment to Indigenous ownership, community partnership, and long-term economic growth.

At United Cree, our team believes that successful projects are built on relationships, integrity, and shared prosperity. By working closely with communities, industry partners, and workforce development organizations, we help create opportunities that extend beyond individual projects—supporting skills development, employment pathways, and infrastructure that strengthens Indigenous communities.

Lee Quachegan

Lee Quachegan — Founder & Visionary Leader

Lee Quachegan, originally from Moosonee and Moose Factory, is the founder and driving force behind United Cree, a 100% Indigenous-owned company focused on delivering industrial services, heavy equipment solutions, and modular infrastructure for projects across Canada.

Background & Heritage

Lee brings to United Cree a deep personal connection to his Cree heritage and to northern Indigenous communities. His upbringing in the James Bay region has shaped his commitment to building businesses that create meaningful opportunities for Indigenous people while supporting the development of Canada’s resource and infrastructure sectors.

This perspective informs United Cree’s core philosophy: combining professional expertise, operational excellence, and cultural respect to create long-term economic benefits for Indigenous communities.

Strategic Vision & Leadership

Under Lee’s leadership, United Cree has grown into a diversified services company providing:

  • heavy equipment rentals and project support

  • modular construction and remote housing solutions

  • industrial infrastructure services

  • operational support for mining, resource development, and remote-site projects

Lee’s vision positions United Cree as more than a service provider. The company is designed to be a platform for Indigenous participation in large-scale industrial projects, creating pathways for employment, skills development, and Indigenous ownership within sectors historically dominated by non-Indigenous companies.

Partnerships & Industry Collaboration

Lee actively cultivates strategic partnerships that expand opportunities for Indigenous communities and strengthen United Cree’s capabilities.

United Cree works closely with organizations such as Indigenous Skilled Trades Alliance (ISTA) to help connect training and workforce development with real employment opportunities in the field. Lee also collaborates with partners including Alchemy Imageworks and OnSite3D, leveraging technology, digital infrastructure, and advanced visualization tools to support modern project development and planning.

Through these partnerships, United Cree continues to expand its reach while remaining firmly rooted in its mission: building sustainable Indigenous economic participation across Canada’s industrial sectors.
